Phatik Chand is a poignant, dramatic story of a 12-year-old child, who loses his memory and calls himself Phatik, and the juggler Harun, who helps him return finally to his home and parents. The relationship which develops between the boy and the juggler as the central theme of the novel is movingly skethced and delineated.
